I found this challenge at Less is More difficult this week, or perhaps its because there is a lot going on at the moment, but managed to produce this.

Memory box poppy

I love this memory box die.  This photograph doesn't do it justice, the poppy is cut from mirror card, and its for the Less is More challenge, where they want to see sparkles or shine.

Autumn colours

I know I have been absent for a long time! but back now, and wanted to do a card for this weeks Less is more challenge, using Autumn colours.  I have had a good time while I have been away and even managed to meet up with Sylvia in Gib. spent a lovely 2 hours chatting over coffee, pity is was one of there few days with rain,

Flowering Christmas tree

Week 72 for the Less is More challenge this week is a theme, and the theme is 'Shiny'.  I used a Memory Box die called flowering Christmas Tree, not easy to photograph today with all this rain! I also used a Friskars border punch, sorry Chrissie and Mandy not as much white space as I would have liked.

Wedding Acceptance

At Less is More this week Mandi and Chrissie are asking us to make a one layer card with a flourish, my flourish is done in purple and the sentiment is computer generated.

Baby girl card

The theme challenge this week at Less is More is to make a card for a child or baby, I used the KiddyDing font which you can get free from Dafont I coloured the bow pink to match the paper.

One layer card

This is 2 firsts for me, sponging and masking, I have used 3 stamps from the same set, they have all been embossed, was unsure about a sentiment so left it out.
I am entering the card for 2 challenges, Less is More where it has to be a one layer card and 3 stamps had to be used. And for One Layer Wednesday where the stamped area has to be no larger than 2" X 2".

Yellow colour challenge

How the week is flying by, the challenge this week at Less is More is a colour challenge and the main focus colour is Yellow.

Golden Wedding Card

I expect you have been wondering what has happened to me... well, a lot going on, including a cruise on the QM2 from Dubai to Southampton, which was lovely, so now back and need to get crafting again.
This card is for the Less is More Challenge, where we were given a sketch to follow.

Neutrals

Week 57 at Less is More and Mandi and Chrissie are asking us to make a card with Neutral colours, not my favourites, it means no white! and I always start with a white card, well I guess its good to do things sometimes you dont like, so I have given it a try.

Sorry but not that good a photograph, no sun today! but the card it cream, and the colour of the branch is brown and the text is the same colour, the flowers are dark brown and for the centres of the flowers I used cream pearlised card, it doesnt show in the photo.
Sometimes my cards wont enlarge when they are posted, if anyone can tell me why this is I would be very grateful, lets hope this one will.

Purple Condolence card

The Challenge this week at Less is More is to use punches or die cuts, my image is from Tiddly Inks this was cut out with oval nestabilities and the decorative corner was cut out using prova craft die cut. The sentiment was computer generated.

Card with stripes

The challenge this week at Less is More is to use stripes and it has to be a one layer card.

I used a Penny Black stamp called constellations and embossed it in black, I did add a gem to the centre of each flower as I felt the flowers looked too black! I hope a gem isn't classed as another layer.

After doing the card with the black flowers I tried it with white embossing but although it stands out on the card when I took the photograph it is hard to see. The sentiments on both cards were computer generated using Black Chancery font

Aqua card for Less is More

The Less is More challenge this week is a colour challenge and we are to use the colour Aqua, so I used a font called Damask Dings, and managed to get the right colour to match some card I had. To finish it I stuck a rhinestone that my friend Joan from Portland Oregan sent me.
